"Better" marks yet another indie-pop jam for Tom Casey. But even with this single's flare for exciting guitar riffs and big synthesizers, Casey juxtaposes his signature lyrical voice against the impressive production, meditating on the struggles of young relationships and the adversities felt in our inner worlds. It's also a strong single thanks to a feature by singer Kayla Dillon, whose standout vocal performance delivers a truly memorable chorus. Casey plans to release several more singles and a debut album is expected out later this year.
