Dark, brooding piano opens up Tom Casey's new single "Beautiful Woman." With soaring synth lines and the familiar twang of Fender guitars straight out of an Ennio Morricone western, "Beautiful Woman" explodes into one of Casey's most decidedly trip-hop excursions. Taking the familiar moody glare of previous singles like "This One's For Us," Casey's attention is turned poignantly to his female focal point, a muse of introspection and inevitable melancholy. Still, for having such a reserved character, "Beautiful Woman" spares no moment to display one of Casey's most impressive and anthemic productions to date. The singer/producer plans to release several more singles this year and a debut full-length album is expected out later this year.
