Bayalien Sound System
Bayalien Sound System, comprised of Poppa Doses and Golden Eye, aren't your regular "genre-dedicated" producers. Where their last release, "Subliminal", focused on their love of dubstep and 2-step, their latest release, "Peach Optimo", adhere's to their interest in dancehall riddims and choppy jungle breaks - there's even a hint of experimental IDM. If the tracks sound a bit extra-terrestrial it's because they were written and produced on Golden Eye's farm far off the grid in the deep east bay. No social media interruptions, phone calls, or any of the frequent temptations that often take productions out of focus. This EP is for the electronic music lovers that are somewhat tired of the run-of-the-mill, tempo-constrained beats that get released in giant handfuls daily. Unplug from the rat race, roll up a peach optimo, put your headphones on and get lost in these psychedelic compositions.
