Visionary producer, label owner and artist James Connolly (prev. L-Vis 1990) begins a new chapter with his Dance System alias as he announces Where's The Party At?, a 20-track mixtape due for release on Thursday 19th November, as the debut release on his new imprint System Records. Created in a post lockdown world where clubs are now a figment of our imagination, Where's The Party At? is a soundtrack for the perfectly wild, fun and drama-filled night with all your favourite DJ's including India Jordan, Hudson Mohawke, A-Trak, Herbert, Shadow Child, Sally C, Cromby, Big Miz, Lauren Flax, DJ Deeon, Absolute, Alex Virgo, Hugo Paris and more, inspiring all the excitement and anticipation of the real deal. It's not about house or techno, it's about fun, playful dance music from all corners, faces and personalities in the scene - all collaborators being friends both old and new of James'. Just over a decade since starting the now iconic label Night Slugs as L-Vis 1990, alongside Bok Bok, the birth of System Records tells a similar story, as it becomes a home for the music James makes and loves that he felt didn't have a home anywhere else. Where's The Party Art? is the first taste of what's to come from what promises to another highly influential label.
