Six months on from the launch of his new imprint System Records, James Connolly aka Dance System (fka L-Vis 1990) follows releases from Hudson Mohawke, India Jordan, A-Trak, DJ Deeon, Sally C, Herbert, UNIIQU3, Black Girl / White Girl and His Majesty Andre, with a single that's genuinely been long-awaited by fans; All I Wanna Do. Still requested daily from fans since it was first played out in clubs in 2019, its release was delayed by sample clearances and a global pandemic, but finally it's here... and coming full circle, it's released just in time for the clubs re-opening. Dance System explains; "All I Wanna Do was a staple in my pre-pandemic sets. I also gave it to a handful of select DJs during that time and it started to pick up a lot of steam. Without doubt, it's become the most requested tune in my whole career! Everyday in my DMs someone is asking when the tune is gonna be out, so I thought I'd best try clear that sample and get it out there. Funny thing is, originally it was just a 140bpm techno tune, without the Oliver Cheatham sample. It still had the 'All I Wanna Do' hook, but then after a while I was like 'What does he want to do?'... Then it came to me; he wants to 'Make Love'. Was crazy how well it fitted when I dropped the sample in. Can't wait to finally get this out AND to be able to play it on a big system again!
