Chloe K-Jones is a vocalist/songwriter from the UK who is now based in Toronto, Canada. She collaborates with producers worldwide and will be releasing a solo EP under the name Kookoo in 2016. Track Oxygen Part II began life with Halifax based producer DK sending Chloe K-Jones this beat that had a classic old school vibe. She wrote the distinctive, longing chorus melody and, feeling that it needed some grit in the verses, got singer Andrew Cameron and rapper Galen Hogg from Tiny Danza involved. They brought their own fervent hip-hop/soul flavour to the track. Chloe says, "The song is about needing someone like you need oxygen to breathe. It becomes an obsession."
