London-based Canadian artist, producer, songwriter Laura Roy releases her first single as a Grammy-nominated songwriter. After sharing 'Tides' EP in July 2021, Laura returns to the scene with her mesmerising new track 'Breathe' taken from her alt-folk R&B project. Having earned two Grammy nominations this past year as a contributing songwriter on Doja Cat's "Planet Her" album, 'Breathe' is the debut track from Laura's upcoming 'Odyssey EP' set for release early 2023. This new offering is an etherial, dream-like soundscape with soaring, soulful melodies, lush string arrangements and percussive chorus that will take you on a musical journey. This new single also serves as an extension of her 2021 'Tides' EP (written with Lianne La Havas and Geo Jordan - Nominated for "Best R&B/Soul Recording at the ECMAs), Laura encompasses her unique blend of influences, drawing from her upbringing in rural Canada and her current second home, London, UK.
