The legendary Imposs and his prolific accomplice Shreez break the sacred silence for the time of a "Victory lap" without ever giving in to the pressure. Here, the turbo engine is running at full speed like this casual production that bears the signature of the one and only High Klassified. Avoiding the trap of lament, complaint and victimization, Imposs and Shreez instead offer us the black heritage. Their Montreal pride, their journey and their success in spite of the odds that are often stacked against them. It is the sixth single of the compilation ''Royaute'' which will be a compilation of 12 songs. Written and produced by about thirty artists, the "Royaute" project aims to highlight Black excellence through a musical project at the rate of one song per month starting in February 2021, The Black History Month. Thus, the project will take place over an entire year. The ultimate goal is to promote not only the artists of the black community working in music, but also the people who take part in the coordination, realization, production and promotion of the project as a whole. The profits will be donated to an organization that helps Black communities: Le Fonds 1804. This organization supports school perseverance and success in addition to granting scholarships to families in need. The money raised by the project will be used to award " Royaute " bursaries. For this large-scale collective project, the Disques 7ieme Ciel label will oversee the project and its marketing in order to not only highlight the musical culture of Black communities, but also to promote and spread Black excellence through a musical project. More precisely, the project ''Royaute'' is a compilation of 12 songs written and produced by about thirty artists from Quebec's Black communities. To make the project as inclusive as possible, there will be as many artists from previous generations and precursors of Quebec hip-hop/rap as there are emerging artists. Starting in February 2021, the songs will be released monthly and will be included in the compilation entitled ''Royaute''. The project will be launched in February since it is Black History Month. Dedicated to celebrations and activities that highlight black heritage, the symbolism of the month of February is a notable element for the release of our project. The ultimate goal is to promote not only the artists of the black community working on music, but also the artisans who take part in the coordination, realization, production and promotion of the project as a whole, not only during Black History Month, but throughout the year. Some of the singles will be accompanied by video clips in addition to small audiovisual capsules to support the initiative by presenting the universe of the project's stakeholders. The artists will be given excellent visibility on digital platforms, social networks and on the radio. The goal of the project is to properly remunerate the participating artists and artisans and to give the profits that would normally go to the label/producer to an organization that helps black communities and, at the same time, make this organization known through the project. The choice of the non-profit organization is "Fonds 1804", whose mandate is to support and recognize the academic perseverance and educational success of young people, particularly those from ethnocultural minority backgrounds. To this end, Fonds 1804 encourages the involvement of parents, families and the community, in addition to supporting its scholarship recipients in their efforts to become independent and integrate into society and the workplace. As a result, the money raised by the project will be used to award "Royaute" bursaries. Not only will the project allow the Black community at the heart of the project to shine, but also to contribute financially in order to work towards eliminating systemic inequalities. The intention is to provide an opportunity for black music workers, both administrative and creative (authors, composers, performers, photographers, videographers, press agents, etc.) to work, create and benefit from great visibility, in addition to contributing culturally to the development of their community. The objective is not only to develop the audience of black artists but also to allow professionals from black communities to work on the project. For example, Jocelyn Bruno, aka Dramatik, is at the heart of the project as Artistic and A&R Director, Myriam Joseph, aka La Dame, as Coordinator, Maliciouz as Audiovisual Artist for the cover, Jean-Herve Desire as Director for the music videos and vignettes, Martine St-Victor as a press officer, Spike Williamz as a mixing and mastering engineer, etc. As far as the authors and performers are concerned, here are the ones that will appear on the compilation: Gino Grey, Jennie Laguerre, Brown Family, Raccoon City, Marieme, Sans Pression, Webster, Imposs, Shreez, Izzy S, Leila, Jibre, Karma, Dramatik, Dan Fihaya Beats, Tizzo, KNLO, Farfadet, Naya Ali, Marco Volcy, Zach Zoya, Speng Squire, Barnev, Dunny Brazz, Papa Brown, Dame, Shashu, Klassified, Koudjo, Kheir and Yng Milly! The goal is to make sure to support and promote the black people who will have worked to make this project possible. In short, this initiative brings the black community together with a team of creators and professionals composed of about 30 artists, a director, an artistic director, a project coordinator, a videographer, a sound engineer, a visual artist, a press relations officer, a photographer and many others in order to offer them recognition in the eyes of the greatest number and to provide important financial support that will be redistributed between the 1804 Fund and all the actors involved in this project. BIO IMPOSS : Stanley Rimsky Salgado aka Imposs is a Montreal-based singer-songwriter of Haitian origin. A pioneer of the Quebec Hip Hop scene, the thirty-year-old rapper is recognized as one of the founding fathers of rap Made In Quebec, while experts are unanimous about the influence he has had solo and within the group Muzion alongside his sister J.Kyll and his sidekick Dramatik. Indeed, the group released two albums (Mentalite Moune Moune and J'revolutionne) which are now recognized as classics of the genre and which both won Felix awards in the category ''Hip Hop Album of the Year'' in 2000 and 2003. It is through his group that Imposs begins his career. The successes with Muzion allowed him to be known in Canada and Europe, in addition to touring extensively in Quebec and France with the group IV My People. After a few years in a band, Imposs decided to venture out on his own. This new step became more concrete when the American star Wyclef Jean invited him - with Muzion - to collaborate with him on his hit 24 Heures a vivre. He officially launches his solo career by releasing a first album entitled ''Mon poing d'vue'', signed on one of the most important Quebec labels of the time, K-Pone Inc. of the artist K'Maro. Imposs will then release a second solo opus, the album PeaceTolet in 2012. Over the years, Imposs has had the opportunity to collaborate with many great artists such as Corneille, France D'Amour, Mc Solar and Grammy Award winners Wyclef Jean and Will.I.Am on the song ''Let Me Touch Your Buttons'' and ''24 Heures a vivre''. More recently, Imposs has partnered with the company ''Ubisoft'' lending his talents as a songwriter on four tracks that are successively in the games ''Just Dance'' from 2014 to 2016. One of these pieces ''Stadium Flow'' is licensed in the great American TV series ''Ray Donovan''. BIO SHREEZ : Shawn Volcy, better known as Shreez, was born in the Fabreville district of Laval and has been immersed in hip-hop culture since he was a young boy. As a teenager, he was influenced by the Atlanta trap wave and drew inspiration from Gucci Mane and the many artists on his label Brick Squad. Later on, he was inspired by the drill rap wave of Chicago led by Chief Keef, and Young Chop. Greatly influenced by these American musical currents, Shreez begins to rap in English before adapting his style in French. It is at this time that he met Tizzo, with whom an exceptional chemistry was formed and gave way to numerous collaborations. Together, they have carved out an important place for themselves on the hip-hop scene with projects such as 51tr4p fr4p50 and Fouette Jean-Baptiste. These numerous collaborations gave birth to the mythical track "On Fouette" which allowed them to be recipients of the SOCAN song award in 2019. Now considered one of the movement's go-to rappers, Shreez revealed his first solo album entitled "On FRAP" in 2020. He is often named your favorite rapper's favorite rapper. His outspokenness and unique way of rapping make him a standout artist that will appeal to the masses. BIO HIGH KLASSIFIED : Montreal's current beat renaissance is a melting pot of hybrid sounds and aesthetics as diverse as the city itself. Yet for all of the exciting electronic producers this new scene has spawned, no one is as unique a personality as High Klassifed. Armed with a Louis bag full of 808s, a half-full bottle of Hennessy, and melodies as stratospheric as his high-top fade, HK makes his Fool's Gold debut with the striking Palindroma EP. High Klassified walks between worlds of bass like none other, whether crafting platinum tracks for Future and The Weeknd, crushing festival-worthy electronic drops, or conjuring futuristic, r&b-influenced house bounce. Inspired by futuristic sounds and sci-fi storylines, High Klassified has blazed one of the most original paths in electronic music, releasing stylish and conceptual EPs on Fool's Gold while producing platinum hits for Future and The Weeknd. Law Of Automata: Valid is his most ambitious project yet, following HK's android avatar (as designed by 3D illustrator Serwah Attafuah) as it experiences the full spectrum of human feelings over the course of the EP's five tracks. These diverse collaborations with R&B singers Leven Kali and Illham, international MCs Zach Zoya and Izi, and EDM beat star TroyBoi each represent a different emotion, and when taken together launch the android - and the listener - to a higher plane of understanding.
