Songwriter and singer Mikael Albertsson is a lucky guy. Not only is he a Grammy winner and has numerous successful projects behind him, he's also seeing a re-release of his 'Tidal Flow'. First released in 2006, this housy track with a high feel-good factor was supported by the likes of Mischa Daniels and Mr. StoneyBoy himself, StoneBridge. More than 3 years later, it's time to give the track another chance in a completely new approach. Mikael's vocals are still more than up to date on this 2009 package. The Soundconducterz gave the track a lovely vocoder effect and changed the breaks to make the vocals stand out even more. The instrumental version of 'Tidal Flow' is a more summer-like clubhouse track, gently flowing and dragging you into it. But there's more! The Jay Cox Fizzeek remix grooves away with a constant beat and ruling, funky elements, while the Lil' Joey and Steve Haines remix works on the summerflow and Vito Benito NuClothes remix comes across as a deep, organ-led oldskool housetrack that was way ahead of its time.
