Rich James (b. 1990, Manila) is a Filipino artist from Auckland City, New Zealand. With a focus on feeling, James speaks through melodies, rapping over samples carried by crunching 808s with shadows of occult, esoteric and religious symbolism dancing throughout. Completely self-produced and engineered, the "Rose Gold" EP is a precursor to James' debut album "Psalms". Focus track 'Sigils' is an ode to magic disguised as a love song.
