On his third studio album, Praiz shows off his essence in a unique and creative addition to his discography in the project "Reckless". "I wanted to make Records that shows Africa is more than just Afrobeats". Praiz restlessly writing and recording right up until it's release and is a typical from an artist who has delighted in surpassing expectations. The idea of time when you're listening to certain songs, especially as a creator, it's like, "are people going to still jam to this in 20 years?". I was thinking about time - or, rather timelessness - as I created the music that would make up my 3rd album which traverses both genre and era; there are hints of '80s maximalist pop, contemporary R&B next to traditional soul, kizomba and Afrobeats. It's emblematic of the Nigerian born singer, producer and songwriter's continued expansion of his sound and style. The body of work embodies emotions of different facets and easily transcends borders. The album's collaborations do the same, roping in the likes of Seun Kuti, Yemi Alade, Alikiba, Ricky Rich, Djodje amongst others. About Praiz Praise Ugbede Adejo (born 8 March, 1985) better known by his stage name Praiz, is a Nigerian multi-award winning singer, songwriter and producer. He shot into limelight after emerging second runner up in the first edition of MTN Project Fame West Africa. He is known to have had his breakthrough with his timeless hit single, Rich & Famous amongst others. His collaboration with Bez on "Stupid Song" became the first African song/video to premiere on BET 106 and PARK. He has gone on to create with other award winning musicians such as Wizkid, Kenny Latimore and others as well as shared the stage with Brandy, Joe, Ginuwine and many others. 6th of February is Prase Adejo Day in the city of Minnesotam, USA as recognition to his philanthropic contributions to the society. His discography features 2 albums, 2 EPs as well as over 60 songs, Rich & Famous (double album), King album, 2 Minutes EP and To The Moon EP. He's signed to his own label CICADA Music and is set to drop his forthcoming album titled "RECKLESS" in March 2022.
