KOOKOO AFTER DARK
The Holy is back with another wave of releases set for 2022 on KOOKOO AFTER DARK, and he's bringing a heater just in time for summer. First up is "One Time" - an infectiously groovy tune, with a hypnotic kick that pulls you in immediately and does not let up. As the song progresses, layers of syncopated hi-hats, arpeggiated riffs, synth stabs, and deep gut churning bass add texture and dynamics that would make antiperspirant sweat. The tune is reminiscent of the 90s rave scene of which The Holy was born and bred - you get into the club and each minute sends you deeper into a transient bliss. One Time is the first track leading up to an EP set to be released at the end of the summer.
