Matter Out Of Place or M.O.O.P. is composed from sounds Lee Berwick recorded in the labyrinths of Stockholm's Slussen one-way system and travel terminus. As they are now sadly demolished, M.O.O.P. is an historic record of what it was to walk through these strange tunnels 20 years ago. The piece was first performed live by Lee as the soundtrack to a performance by the Suen Butoh Company at the excellent Fylkingen venue in Stockholm in 2001. Originally released only as a limited edition CD, in a sense M.O.O.P. is the one-way system in dub.
