2 EPs (00S Licence To Kill and Le Monde Ne Suffit Pas), some featurings which have been played everywhere and audacious visuals choices that gave S. Pri Noir a particular place in the actual rap scenery. Masque Blanc is everything but a typical 2018 French rap scene disc. A limited number of featuring (Still Fresh, Nemir, Nekfeu concerning the rappers, the soul duo Haute and Viviane Chidid for the rest), some long tracks with discrete if not absent rythmics, and then things coming from overseas, from the senegalese music to house music, including caribbean, hispanic, electro or R&B music that are composing nowaday's primery global pop music. It's a disc evocating both debuts of S. Pri Noir and particularly his early taste for the oldschool « kickage », which are these pushy virtuosos flows, Time Bomb or Secteur A style - and which take roots in a present where rap, that became the most spoken musical language in France, is not only a musical genre anymore, but also the most used expressive and diversified style appropriated by the Youth.
