Atlanta based R&B singer and songwriter Teraye, discovered she had a gift when she began belting out ballads at the tender age of 7. Inspired by vocalists of the 1990's, she showcased her talents for her friends and family, performing original songs she'd written in her music journal. She always knew she wanted to be an artist, but it wasn't until she'd graduated from college that she decided to take her career to the next level. She began to network in the music industry and had the chance to collaborate and write music for many different established and upcoming pop and R&B vocalists like CASE. While Teraye enjoyed working with and learning from these artists she always craved more. She wanted to create her own project, an extension of herself in her own words. Teraye knew God had given her a gift and she felt compelled to share that gift with the world. After years of creating music behind the scenes, she is stepping out to take the industry by storm. With a uniquely vibrant sultry-smooth vocal style reminiscent of R&B of the 90's, paired with her 'urban and edgy meets high fashion' sense of style – Teraye is undoubtedly able to capture the attention of any audience both vocally and visually.
