Originally from Sevran, from the cite des Radars to be precise, Benab is one of those artists at the crossroads of genres. He offers a hybrid music, combining rap and singing, tinged with oriental influences, which lights up the grey Parisian atmosphere with a ray of sunshine. Authentic product of the district, it is with a more positive eye that he depicts it in his first album Dracarys released in 2019. A successful opus that will impose the Sevranais as one of the artists to follow closely on the French urban scene. A year and a half after Dracarys, in February 2021, Benab releases his second opus Au clair de la rue (Part.1). A more mature album which marks a clear evolution in the career of the sevranais. The subject is refined and the productions ambitious. We find there a more melancholic Benab, wondering about the life of district and its consequences. The Street is the muse of this project, the main inspiration. Punctuated by featurings with Imen ES, Naps, Marwa Loud, Benab also surrounded himself with Timal, Maes and Mister V to propose more rap tracks. All the success of this album lies in the dosage, the mixture of several atmospheres while remaining extremely coherent. A second part is released in October 2021, on which we find RS4 featuring Timal and Kofs. The album will be certified gold record in December 2021. In September, he changes course and signs with AllPoints / Believe, while preparing his new album to be released this winter.
