"This song is about a very long relationship I was in. It's an unrequited love song about a situation where one person is emotionally and sexually absent, and the effects that can have on the other person involved. I was going through a tough time at this point and wrote, arranged and produced this song to its final point within a couple weeks of starting it, which usually isn't the case in our workflow." Chris "Heated Up" is the third single from silky voiced Woodbridge, ON crooner Chris LaRocca's 2019 EP Saudade. The songwriter and producer has already had his music highlighted by FADER, Complex, Noisey, Beats1, Nylon and many more. A master of deeply personal contemporary R&B, "Heated Up," is a sultry summer anthem, and universal lament of lost love, a perfect soundtrack for the warm weather breaking. Saudade is Chris' anticipated second project, to be released July 17, 2019 ahead of North American touring and a handful of collabs planned for late in the year. Those collabs and Saudade form the runway to Chris' debut full length, expected in early 2020.
