"Evelyn" is a musical work resulting from a collaboration between Rifo Octavian a.k.a Rifofo and Gandhi Prasetya a.k.a Gandhi Shiro. Rifo is a young music producer who has released his debut single titled "Karma Yoga" (end of 2018) and followed by "Time Flex" (early 2019) which collaborated with musicians from Bandung and Bali. In both of these works, Rifo shows his features that are contemporary in nuance. Gandhi was an artist who was active in music & dance creations at UKTK (Dance and Karawitan Activities Unit) Airlangga University, Surabaya, since 2002. Gandhi also joined the contemporary keroncong music group 'On behalf of the Nation' and the market snack community (percussion) has given birth to a number of musical compositions. In addition to the two related families (cousins), the decision to collaborate grew out of the common vision in art. Even though Rifo and Gandhi stayed far apart (Jakarta and Surabaya). The theme of Javanese Timuran music (related to Surabaya) was originally delivered by Gandhi to Rifo so that the two discussed, in addition to the music that would be done also about the theme to be appointed. The two then agreed to raise a reflective theme, with Osing-language vocals from Banyuwangi and rhythmic inspired by the dangdut koplo which was identical to the sound of the drum instrument. The reflective theme in question is related to the experience of Rifo and Gandhi who both live in an urban (urban) sphere, which according to them turns out to have an effect on locality. This opinion seems to be nothing new because there are also many who think so. Uniquely in this work entitled "Evelyn", Rifo and Gandhi imagined the state of locality affected by the sacrifice in human form. Basically, humans as well as elements of urban life are also entities that can choose to act in and under certain ways
