In Summer 2016 I got together with one of my best friends and mentor Buddy Leezle. Buddy molded me into the still growing, expiramental artist I am today. And constantly pushes me to do more which I am ever so grateful for. That man has been an inspiration for me, not to mention the older brother I never had. And I could take a year to write a book on how much I love and appreciate him. For if it wasn't for Buddy Leezle, I would not have gotten this far, nor would I have kept climbing. After joining forces with him and Michael Pipatone along side Shawn Irwin of The Army of the 12 Monkeys, we produced my first EP ALPHA. If I believed in god I'd say Michael and Shawn are a mother fucking GODSEND. Maybe satan sent them? I don't know, but the music they produced around my a cappella recordings beyond exceeded my expectations. I'd also really like to shout out my music family at Actual Records. My now second home here in philly. I'v been affiliated with the ladies and gents signed to that label for over a year now, and being that I'm an unsigned independent artist, I found it a priceless privilege to be able to step into their world and learn from each and every one of them. Sitting on their couches, Asking questions, And getting some very valuable advice. Actual Records, founded by Aaron Ruxbin, IS my family. With Ruxbin being our extra dark and cunning version of Papa Smurf. Guiding and molding all of his children into the best versions of themselves. And most importantly believing in them and me as well. Thanks for calling my work art dude. That meant the world to me. That being said,this EP is the beginning stages of my alter ego. My dark side per say. I'm already a badass alpha female. This EP just transforms that to the next level. Im also middle eastern, so there is definitely some essence to that in the music thanks to Mike seeing my vision and transforming a sound that is so completely perfectly transparent. And there will be follow ups with that in mind. BET. ALPHA BABY
