Singapore's home-grown rapper, THELIONCITYBOY (TLCB) will release a new single "All Night" featuring Sony Music artist, Sezairi, on the 23th October 2015 on all digital platforms. The single's music video will be released concurrently on his YouTube channel http://youtube.com/thelioncityboy. Everyone probably has been through this phase; we would do and try everything and anything to get the girl's, or guy's, attention, just to find our other halves. "How this song came about was when FlightSch and I had a conversation about our past experiences over drinks. I think guys probably do crazier things though." "All Night" speaks directly from TLCB's heart as he reminisce those days and nights he spent getting to know his current wife, Aarika Lee. From the time he laid eyes on her, he was drawn to her. He started thinking of ways and means to go up to have a conversation with her. Asking around who she was and where she's from. Once he found out that Aarika did music as well, he then concocted a fake plan to collaborate with her. By telling her that he was working on some tracks that she would be interested in and maybe they could work something out. When the tracks were created actually just 10 minutes before her arrival. It was a long time of getting to know each other before they got married years later. "His voice tells a love story very well," as TLCB refers to Sezairi's soulful pop vocals present on the chorus. "I always love collaborating with Sezairi. He had sung on my previous EP, on 1 www.bedsty.com a track called "Danger" with Bani Haykal and Aarika - but I had to have him return on this one. There was no one better than Sezairi to tell my story with me." TLCB co-produced "All Night" with Flightsch who has been collaborating with TLCB since "PYCO" back in 2013. "Flightsch is really good at what he does. He understands my vision and my music, that's why we're able to work together so closely on projects, and I really wanted to bring our energy from the live show to the song as well." TLCB explained, in reference to his collaboration with Mr Boo. Vadbibes aka Jasper Tan shot and directed the music video for "All Night". THELIONCITYBOY has always been a fan of Vadbibes, he even sent a fan mail to express how much he loved Vadbibes videos and style which is old school cinematography. They've always wanted to collaborate but never found an opportunity to until "All Night", as TLCB wanted to do something different and out of his comfort zone. The storyboard was inspired and based of the movie "Warm Bodies", where like in the movie, TLCB is in pursuit of the girl of his dreams and life. With the video staring TLCB as a zombie, he felt it was a good opportunity to release the music video during Halloween. "I have always been amazed by old films, the way of shooting and the coloring. I thought it would be new and unique to do it for "All Night" and since Halloween is coming as well it was a good time!" explained Vadbibes.
