Petite nana, part. 1 (Conversation)Amalia
Amalia grew up in Marseille. Amalia Cruz-Raude was raised on the sounds of jazz and soul, of Nina Simone, Etta James and Cesaria Evora. But she was recently very committed to hip hop and urban music texts which have fortified the cultural, musical and artistic base of the city in which she began her career. Initially doomed to a very different career path, Amalia discovered the power of words when she adapted a classic play into a musical during a french A-Level test. It has been a real revelation. She decided to use this art form to share her life experiences with as many people as possible. After a few experiences and experiments with the local scene, it is with the producer and composer Francois Villevieille (Prudence, Angele, V.Paradis, Elephant, Achille...) that Amalia found the sound and the direction in which she recognized herself and blossomed. A pop, electro, and rap mixture with an extreme singularity, which makes Amalia today a touching artist.
