I wrote "The Blue Hour" as a response to losing my voice after being diagnosed with vocal nodules. It was a long, traumatic process, but after 3 years of rehabilitation I regained full expression of my voice and recorded this record. In "The Blue Hour" I explore a spectrum of light to dark, surreal to realism while processing a profound existential crisis onset from losing my true love of expression through the human voice and rebuilding my internal instrument and while fighting an internal mental battle.
