'Aotearoa' has become one of Minuit's biggest tunes from the album 'Find Me Before I Die A Lonely Death dot com'. Not least because their country of origin gets mentioned in the lyrics, nor that over a thousand people feature separately in the music video. It's smouldering groove has appeared on soundtracks for US TV shows 'Bones' and 'Being Human', and it's emotive call and response has fired up many a festival stage. Here the tune gets remixed by some of the Aotearoa underground's bassiest producers - including Olie Bassweight, organikismness and Funk'n'slocuts. A rare and chilling downbeat version from The Upbeats is a gem, and Distinctive Records' Hexadecimal (now kiwi resident) throws in his take on the anthem. "You and me, we are a New Zealand".
