Black Swan
Atlas, the third release from Jef Stott and Mah Ze Tar of the Zikr Project is an expansive musical exploration into the trance rhythms and melodies of the deserts of Northern Africa mixed with deep meditative production elements and sound design. Both tracks feature the ney flute and vocals from Mah Ze Tar and are supported by deep frame drum rhythms and lush cinematic soundscapes from producer Jef Stott. These evocative tracks are reminiscent of fantasy epics of both the page and the screen with their heroic themes and powerful arrangements. Atlas is a sonic journey into the mystery and depth of the deserts of our imagination. This is Medicine music for the modern mystic.
