Tampa Fl. rapper Hybreed eM-16 comes full throttle on his debut release of XVI: The Album, which is lyrically impressive to say the least. The album features complex rhyme patterns over a myriad of Hip Hop instrumentals ranging from Boom Bap to gritty Bass heavy bangers and shows that he is able to adapt to any sub genre thrown his way. The Florida emcee's charisma doesn't let up throughout as he proves to be more than capable of technically proficient bars. XVI, which is the Roman numeral equivalent to sixteen, seems to encapsulate his persona on the metaphorical laden track Sixtaaane and has had numerous plays on radio in Central Florida with his club jumping single No Hesitation. A perfect blend of nostalgic up north Hip Hop mixed with his southern rooted slang and boastful attitude as a lyricist makes XVI: The Album wildly entertaining and satisfying to the ears of someone who appreciates well thought out rhymes integrated with head knocking beats.
