Next up on BumpCut Records, UK-based artist Space Jump Salute turns out two fresh originals and is joined by Jairo Delli for a remix. The Birmingham-born DJ/Producer has made a name for himself over the last few years with releases on Roush, Toolroom, Glasgow Underground, Cr2, Armada and many more and brings with him a reputation for high-energy, uplifting house style. The title track 'Turn Me Up' opens the EP and keeps the energy at a high level, instantly setting the pace with a huge melodic bassline. More hooky vocal chops and quirky pitch bending blend in perfectly with the rest of its engaging characteristics, not to mention the robust, bouncing vibe it brings from start to finish. 'Rockin' with punchy rhythm and peak time flavour. Built around a catchy vocal hook and high-intensity elements, it's a track full of peaks and troughs which is more than capable of keeping the dancefloor moving. Lastly, Jairo Delli's remix of 'Rockin' gives it a whole new personality. Momentous transitions and driving groove complement the clever lo-fi sampling and big-room atmosphere created by the track.
