Sterling Infinity
"Let me introduce you to Sterling Infinity, a new talented, singer-songwriter and pop artist on the rise! He is Fiercely redefining what it means to be a Rockstar of the new paradigm, etching a new lane on his own terms." Sterling Infinity is a truly unique artist and someone likely to surprise almost any listener. His music combines electronic soul and synth rock in a way that's reminiscent of the greatest performers. The Xstacy charismatic singer has garnered comparisons to everyone from Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Steven Tyler, Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, to the glittery star-blazer himself David Bowie. "Ziggy was a huge inspiration of mine"; to whom his latest EP bears an almost eerie resemblance. "His work kept me sane during the insanity. He also taught me how to smear a good piece of eye liner!" But it's not just his image that makes him unique. Hearing him sing a few lines from his song Put Me In Your Mouth, you quickly realize that this isn't another man playing dress-up in hopes of emulating The Greats. When he sings "the earth is shaken, my body quaking, put me in your mouth baby", he sings each note with such conviction; if you weren't paying attention, you would think he's singing a spirit stirring gospel anthem. As was the case with many of the great singers before him, Sterling began in gospel music where his songwriting abilities and extraordinary vocal range won the attention of gospel critics and the adulation of audiences. Soon he was singing not only at church venues, but also at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Avery Fisher, and the Jacob Javits Center. "I loved it! Gospel taught me that you better sing from the bottom of your feet to the top of your soul. Everything has to come from a place of strong conviction, right? Its got to be real, you can't fake gospel music. Either they feel you or they don't. I call it singing naked and I like that!" Back then he was as well known for his voice as he was for his flamboyant stage persona. He gave their services a little more than just a Praise to remember God by, to say the least. Sterling Infinity incorporates his deep sexual convictions and naked passion into his Sterling Infinity - The Infinite One Has Landed (EP). "The music is about landing on my own world. The Greats got that man; they were bold enough to live outside the box and break free from being stuck inside their heads. To me the Infinite One is about saying fuck you! I've always lived my life as my watered down alter-ego persona. Imagine dying and realizing you faked it and never had any real fun as your true self. I won't live as anyone other than myself. To live otherwise is a sin and I refuse to be sinful." Sterling Infinity recently dropped his second music video #XWeveLanded - Soul Raptured to accompany this Ep, Sterling Infinity - The Infinite One Has Landed. Dedicated to David Bowie and Ziggy Stardust: thank you for helping me find my voice and my place here on earth.
