Alden Groves
Like all of Groves music so far, Sway is produced, performed, recorded, mixed, and mastered by the artist himself. Sway—however—features singer-songwriter Heléne on the chorus, with a pleasantly ethereal performance that showcases her unique & airy voice. The two wrote the hook together about their shared experiences with mental health & mood disorders. Groves beat is hypnotic, haunting, and rich with atmosphere and movement, and the performances and songwriting complement it nicely. His lyrics are poetic and metaphorical as ever, likening waves on an anchor to the push and pull of emotions.
