GREEK.
In what is a dramatic left turn from the previously-released banger "RHULUMENTE," GREEK. abandons the bravado-filled raps and showcases his versatility with a breezy, alternative-leaning vibe on "SUN AIN'T SET V1." This time around it is a completely solo outing, with GREEK. not only performing the whole song himself but also handling production and engineering duties. Sonically, the song is an indie-R&B song that wears many different influences: funky guitar and synths that wouldn't feel out of place on a Steve Lacy record, Hip-Hop-adjacent drums to give it some bounce, and Houston Screw-type vocals to round out the woozy ambience on the song. "SUN AIN'T SET V1" is the second single from GREEK.'s upcoming EP, VOLUME 3, which is slated for a late November 2021 release.
