In 1983 a group of talented musicians from Sinaloa decided to create a group called Ilusion 83 and recorded an album. By 1990 the group decided to renew itself and since the banda genre began to gain more strength, they decided to become a technoband, thus creating the Brava Band. During the 90's the Banda Brava released great songs such as "Chiquitita" "Cumbia con opera" "Margarita" "Just a few beers" "And they gave us ten", among others. In 1994 they suffer a rupture since some members deserted and formed the Texana Band. In 2002, Jose Carlos Rodriguez, bassist and first voice of the band, decided to desert along with other musicians to form a new group. Currently Jose Carlos manages his own Banda Brava, managing to make ft with renowned artists; and the musicians of the original group name it Banda Brava Del Viejon.
