Ever since their 1985 debut Viva Chile!, Electrodomesticos have remained present as one of the most important and influential bands in the contemporary Chilean musical scene. Creating dense atmospheres of superimposed layers and with the use of samplers and looped bases they built a unique style, one that at their inception became immediately recognizable within the Latin American scene: an experimental mix of industrial sounds blended with elements of electronica, rock, staccato pulses, bolero and pop. Counting their recently released 'third album' (Lost Demos, HR-24), Se Caiga El Cielo is their 5th album, mixed by Hector Castillo (David Bowie, Brazilian Girls, Philip Glass, Bjork) and mastered by Dave McNair (David Bowie, Alpha Rev, Iggy Pop) in New York City.
