With his upcoming EP 'Joy / Work It Out' Bakermat goes back to a Gospel-influenced sound - an absolute fan favourite. An overload of FeelGood energy, featuring his latest single 'Joy (with Ann Nesby)' in collaboration with two-times grammy winner Ann Nesby, as well as an all new dancefloor heater 'Work It Out' - a unique dance take on "Jesus Can Work it Out" from Dr. Charles Hayes and the Cosmopolitan Church of Prayer Choir. About Work It Out: "I'm not the first to use this amazing sample from Dr. Charles Hayes and the Cosmopolitan Church of Prayer Choir but I think I definitely gave it my own unique twist. I love the pure, unfiltered energy of the choir. I went for a pretty old school production style to keep this as raw and unpolished as possible but also combined old and new elements to create a mix of different styles. I think overall this resulted in a playful record that I had a lot of fun making.
