Steve Aokis "5OKI" EP sees the 2x Grammy-nominated artist return to the big room, electro house sound that established him as an international festival force. The package consists of 5 collaborations, featuring the Dim Mak label head and select heavyweight dance music producers/DJs. Dutch powerhouse Hardwell kicks things off with his collaboration, "Anthem." Pulsating electro synths and big room 4/4 kicks fuse flawlessly with Kris Kiss' glossy melodies and crowd-rallying vocals on a track poised to take main stages by storm. Following "Anthem," Aoki is joined by Quintino on "Mayhem," a turbulent earthquake of sound consisting of big room kicks, electric synths, and heavy bass. Longtime friend Laidback Luke links up with Aoki on electro house banger "It's Time," which includes announcing from the UFC's official voice of the octagon, Bruce Buffer. Next up is Pika Pika - a track Aoki created with electro house producer LOOPERS - featuring frenetic vocal samples, bold synth stabs and electric bass lines. The EP is rounded out by a collaboration between Aoki and Israeli psytrance duo Vini Vici on "Moshi Moshi," an up-tempo banger led by a classic 303 acid line with Mama Aoki's vocals endearingly sampled throughout.
