Gamble Breaux
Real Housewives of Melbourne star, Gamble, Unleashes the Fire & Fury LIVE & EXCLUSIVELY at Feast, Adelaide's LGBTIQ Queer Arts and Cultural Festival **Saturday 10th November 2018** Fire and Fury is the title of Gamble's new track she has written EXCLUSIVELY for Feast (Adelaide's LGBTIQ Queer Arts and Cultural Festival). She will be performing the new single LIVE at the Opening Night Party for the very first time in Australia. The song is an anthem to celebrate pride and diversity that co-insides with the anniversary of the same-sex marriage survey results announcement. "Fire and Fury is about empowerment, to embrace who you are and proudly show it to the rest of the world!" said Gamble. Showing support for the LGBTIQ community is very important to Gamble, even more these days because of her out and proud step-son, Luke Wolfe. As seen on TV the pair have developed a strong mother/son bond and Gamble remembers the emotional struggles Luke went through during the postal survey. "The legalisation of same-sex marriage was huge last year for Australia, I was so proud that it happened as it was a sense of relief particularly for Luke because it was such a difficult time for him to have the validity of his human rights questioned like many other Australians," she said. "I do know that was just the beginning though, people in Australia still endure discrimination, and people overseas still don't even have basic human rights, so there is definitely a need to show continued support for the LGBTIQ community globally," said Gamble. It's not the first time a Real Housewives cast member has added singer to their career portfolio, but none have done it quite like Australia's own Gamble from The Real Housewives of Melbourne. Moving away from the typical pop music genre that most Real Housewives dabble in, Gamble embarked on a different path. Her first single titled This Time feat. Jason Singh was filled with soulful lyrics and performed as a love-song ballad. Gamble then followed up her first hit with I Can't Tell You Why – still with an array of soulful lyrics but set with an easy rock tone, but this time (no pun intended) Fire and Fury mixes elements of pop, country and rock music all into one fast tempo power ballad inspired by the works of Queen. The song was written by Gamble along with co-writers and producers Leon Todorovic and Troy Nababan at Hammerspace Perth. Gamble will perform with her band, also named Fire and Fury, featuring guitarist – Leon Todorovic, drums - Cameron Barrett, and bass – Troy Nababan. Joining Gamble on the Opening Night Party stage will be Miss Burlesque Adelaide 2018 winner, Vivienne Von Coffin, alt-country band Bad Habits, Adelaide DJ sensation Seb Jay, gender transcendent Melbourne based diva Mama Alto plus many more! Feast Festival, 3 World Premieres, 6 South Australian Premieres and over 70 events across 16 days For the full program head to: www.feast.org.au
