"Contundente" is Adriana Rios' debut album. This production has a total of 10 songs, 6 were written by Adriana and 4 she shares credits with other writers. You can find different musical styles in "Contundente", predominantly mariachi with norteno, from rhythmic songs as well as romantic ballads, each with a distinctive sound as each arrangement was designed to convey the emotion of the lyrics. The style of some of the songs are marked on the line of "La Catedral", a song that was recorded in Colombia and has some touches of Colombian popular music, this same style was implemented in other songs on the album such as "La que Sigue De Mi " album's focus track and "Ya No Me Importa". Adriana chose this title in honor of her mother's best life advice: everything you do in life do it with determination and put all your energy into it, and the result will always be "Contundente"(Forceful).
