The Empresarios have had a busy year in the studio making new music and a bunch of exciting videos. The group plans to end the year strong with the Cambumbeo Remix EP, which includes four banging remixes of Empresarios originals. This release is a truly global effort as the Empresarios tapped some of their favorite remixers around the world. Austrian legend Shantisan has remixed the title track, while Greek DJ Inko, Australian Omegaman and Orlando, Florida based Stereo 77 all reworked Con Las Manos Arriba. Prepare to take a musical journey that starts in the Caribbean and ends in the hottest nightclubs and dancehalls imaginable. The kings of late night cool have arrived. Noche De Cambumbeo has been reworked by Shantisan into a very smooth groove that will get even the most stubborn heads nodding. The steady booming bassline is perfectly suited for the floating melodica, crisp percussion and intricate guitar lines. You can hear Shantisan's deep well of experience come shining through on this Tropicaliente lounge burner. Next up is DJ Inko's reinterpretation of Con Las Manos Arriba and he takes it straight to the dancefloor with a relentless 4-4 workout. Dubbed out effects and stutter-step percussion create the mood and when the drop hits, you can feel your ass begin to shake. DJ Inko is a busy and hard working club dj who knows how to get the crowd moving, and he has brought that sensibility to his remix in fine style. Hailing from the growing Puerto Rican community in Orlando, Florida is Stereo 77 who has also remixed Con Las Manos Arriba. While also going in a house direction, this is a true "Ricanstruction" as Stereo 77 calls his remixes, so get ready for a heavy percussion section with some tropical bass throw in for good measure. In a style familiar to the Empresarios, Stereo 77 is skilled in fusing together a variety of Caribbean styles and influences, so turn this one up loud and get down to it. Closing out the package is Omegaman's remix of Con Las Manos Arriba, and he went in a different direction than the other two producers. The vibe is throttled down a bit, the congas come front and center and Omegaman has infused the track with some laid-back breakbeats. Omegaman's chilled out breaks remix is fresh and funky, sure to be a favorite with DJs and radio stations worldwide.
