With four musical projects in 2017, the new rising figures of Quebec rap and proud representatives of Montreal's Plato Hess, the rapper FouKi and his producer QuietMike are far from stopping there. A fickle rapper with a melodic flow, FouKi navigates sometimes with humor, sometimes with introspection between trap, reggae and folk. The duo offers an atypical and energetic hip-hop format, at the confluence of European, Quebec and American rap cultures, ready to appeal to a wide audience. FouKi was named one of the 10 young writers to be screened in 2018 by the ''Plus on est de fous, plus on lit'' team, on ICI Radio-Canada Premiere, as well as being named in the 5 Quebec rap artists to watch by the renowned French webzine Konbini. The quality of their hard work in 2017 caught the attention of the renowned 7ieme Ciel Records company (Koriass, Alaclair Ensemble, Manu Militari) under which the pair released their first official album Zay on April 13th. in addition to coming back in force and quickly with a thematic summer EP of 4 titles entitled '' La Zayte '' on July 13, 2018. The Zayventures of FouKi and its producer QuietMike, the super Zayan of Quebec rap strike back for the ZayZay Tour whose ultimate goal is to make the Zay movement prevail across the galaxy. With an official first album: "Zay" released in 2018 via Disques 7ieme Ciel, forty concerts throughout Quebec including couple of sold-out shows, a first European tour in France and Belgium, a nomination to the ADISQ in the category hip-hop album of the year, in addition to being crowned public choice as Artist of the Year at the last GAMIQ gala and to be listed among 10 artists for the Prix Felix-Leclerc de la chanson, FouKi and QuietMike are back with their second album: "ZayZay", an album and a show always and more... Zay! FouKi also appeared in 5 music videos which he is featuring. His video of the title "Gaye" remains the most popular FouKi, cumulating 1,800,000 views since its release on October 5, 2017. FouKi and his team are currently developing the project in Europe, via Pedro Booking and OMAX6MUM (PR + Digital Marketing). After a first tour of 5 dates in the fall of 2018, including a showcase at the MaMa Festival, FouKi was released a featuring with the Parisian rapper Lord Esperanza, a single that has more than 400K views on his video released on November 2nd of 2018. On his next album, FouKi is planning a song featuring Lord Esperanza and the Belgian rapper ISHA. The album '' ZayZay '' will be the second official album of FouKi and QuietMike. A project of 17 titles, the final result of which will be the most successful of the duo, as much on the substance as on the form. An album that will follow the current trends of hip-hop music while standing out of the Quebec musical offer. In the featurings, we can find KNLO + Eman + Robert Nelson (of Alaclair Ensemble) and Obia le Chef + Jam on one track, and an another one with Vendou.
