Chalice burst on the scene in with their 1982 debut album Blasted, which spawned two number one tracks on the Jamaican and reggae charts- "I Still Love You" and the inspirationally powerful "Good To Be There". Later hits included "Pocomania Day", "Stew Peas", "Can't Dub" and "Revival Time". Evoking Third World, Inner Circle and the Wailers, Chalice continues to tour worldwide, and recently received rave reviews for their performances at the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival and the 2008 Calabash International Literary Festival. Sixteen years later the album still sounds fresh, and the many of the tracks are radio staples in Jamaica and on reggae programmes worldwide. Pipe Music International and Zincbeats are pleased to present a digitally remastered version of Blasted, complete with bonus tracks, as the latest in their series of classic reissues. "Stepping to the stage to take a bow after their stunning performance, Chalice was greeted with nothing but praise." - The Jamaica Observer review of the 2008 Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival
