Steve Aoki unleashes his club-oriented opus "4OKI." Aligning with some of Dim Mak's most promising talents, Aoki sets the dancefloor in motion with this forward thinking 4-track EP. Teaming up with label-mate Autoerotique for the project's intro track, "ILYSM" features drop-tuned vocals, a funky bassline and a melody of fluty synths that thrust the record to the mainroom. Aoki then collabs with extended Dim Mak fam Shaun Frank on "Dope Girlz," a bass house jam with a low-pitched vocal account that beckons you to keep sippin'. Old school then meets new school in the form of a Steve Aoki x Reid Stefan collaboration. Newcomer Stefan brings his booty music influence to "Bring The Funk Back," a wubby underground tune made club-ready by electrifying Aoki synths. To close out 4OKI, recent Dim Mak affiliate MORTEN steps into the ring with Aoki for the massive bass-heavy electro earworm "Kids." The hard-hitting track boasts the contagious refrain, "The drum kick hits and the kids will die."
