LOOK AT US NOW The reason why we wanted to take our time in the studio, was that we had a very clear vision and passion for creating a whole project that tells a story over the course of more than a single. We've had the urge to write and create an EP almost like a movie or short film. The whole concept of the EP was to tell the story of the metamorphosis of the butterfly. We as friends, colleagues and creatives working together have gone through a very formative year personally as well as professionally and artistically. We've slowly built a team around us, while maturing as people, musicians and songwriters. "The story of LOLA begins with how the main character having experienced toxic relationships, made wrong decisions and being burned both in life and love. The interludes are narrated by both my grandmother and mother (in italian) talking about how life in general always is a journey that never stops. There's peaks and valleys and we'll forever have to figure out how to climb the mountain we're currently facing, to then immediately figure out how to descent and climb the next one. And that's basically what life comes down to, right?" - LOLA
