Emotional Control is the first Collaboration of Micah Xavier Jones and Blunted Beatz. On the Album the Rapper from Chicago explains his emotions and how he deals with them. Raised between Turrell, Arkansas and Chicago Micah got in touch with music at early age. After loosing his father with 16 and his mother with 18 he got a lot support from the community mainly in Turrell. He finished High School and joined the Armed Forces. After returning home from a being in Afghanistan, he decided that he wanted to focus only on his true passion, music. With this project Micah for the first time works on an Album under his real name. At the same time it is the first time Micah and Blunted Beatz collaborate. The producer duo from Hamburg is worldwide known for their classic HipHop Productions. After their first two single releases in 2017 this is the first Album collaboration the duo does. They've mainly gained attention with their youtube and soundcloud pages, where they've reached over 140 millions views. Through the years their work was a part in countless songs, advertiesments and TV-Shows, like Twin Peaks. Blunted and Micah met in summer 2017 and instantly caught a vibe. After creating their first collaboration song Remember Days with Kid Soul, they decided to work on an Album together. The classic HipHop productions paired with the flow and depth of Micahs lyrics creates an relaxed, but thoughtful atmosphere and reminds the listener of HipHop from back in the 90s.
