3. Sir Stewart & The Boss Tweed - Caffeine Sonata (Corduroy Mavericks Remix)
Sir Stewart & The Boss Tweed are musical brothers from different musical mothers. They also live on the same street in Killeen, Texas. Sir Stewart & The Boss Tweed have been creating deep and funky house music since 2000 with previous works featured on such labels as Kolour, Llama Farm and Soul Fuel.
Original Mix:
Sir Stewart & The Boss Tweed visit classic house elements for a 21st century scorcher. The drums and bassline are equally as infectious as the soulful vocals that pull you in like a siren in a sea of dub-tweaked sonics and 303 riffs.
John Pridgen Nature Remix:
John Pridgen of Sun City Hustlers notoriety delivers a tripped out Afro-Cuban late night take on Caffeine Sonata. The bass line is huge, the drums are right in the pocket, the R&B vocal is hallucinatory and the synth stabs really deliver.
Corduroy Mavericks Remix:
The Corduroy Mavericks serve up another dose of dance floor amphetamine. Hand percussion and Rhodes lace around new jack house and stomp box dynamics creating an alternate universe where Herbie Hancock becomes the front man for P-Funk.
