RnB-soul siren Shavaun Marie releases her debut album "Music of Love", including lead-single successes 'That's My Man', 'Catching Feelings' and breakout hit 'Ups & Downs' (with a collective 3 million-streams racked up in this past year), as well as new tune 'Nothing I Wouldn't Do' (16 Aug). Album title "Music of Love" is not only the name of one of the tracks - it encompasses where all the songs came from. Whether they're written about Shavaun's family and friends or her relationship with her fiance, they songs are all born out of love. Produced by RnB heavyweight Vince Harder, "Music of Love" has strong 90's R&B undercurrents, echoing the attitude and melodic focus of supergroups like Destiny's Child, SWV and TLC. Focus single 'Music of Love' is joyous and celebratory with an infectious singalong chorus. Hailing from small town Wanganui in NZ and growing up in Sydney Australia, Shavaun Marie started song writing at the tender age of 14. With big influences from her Dad and her family, Shavaun's passion for singing and performing flourished. In 2012 Shavaun won the national "Urbanstar Talent Quest" and started her music career as a solo independent artist. Shavaun decided to join RnB girl group Paris Inc, they auditioned for Australian "X-Factor" and made it through to the home visit round before deciding to part ways to focus on their individual music careers.
