Revorg Records are proud to present their latest release, the new single from Sam Krats - Culture. The Bristol-based producer continues his golden run of collaborations, which have included tracks with the likes of Neek the Exotic, Ruste Juxx and El Da Sensei, with a single that sees him amassing a wealth of rap talent that spans the generations, as well as the Atlantic. In the process of creating what is likely to stand out as one of the strongest posse cuts of the year, Krats has enlisted the skills of Juice Crew legend Craig G to head up the guest spots on Culture, with the New York veteran sharing mic duties with an illustrious list of MCs from the UK. MysDiggi, Gee Bag, Ramson Badbonez and Phoenix Da Icefire all bring their inimitable flows to the proceedings, creating a cavalcade of heavyweight bars in the process, while UK turntablist Jazz T contributes his inimitable cuts to the mix. As the title itself hints at, Culture is inspired by the group's mutual appreciation for the 90s hip-hop scene and the many artists who populated it. As a result, the track is peppered with namechecks and references to that golden age, while Krats's production draws on the same head-nod inducing influences that underpinned the era, delivered with a contemporary twist. And to keep that 90s spirit thriving, there is also a remix of the track, courtesy of infamous Bushwick production duo Da Beatminerz - aka DJ Evil Dee and Mr Walt - who offer up an audible time capsule that sounds like it walked out of the studio with Timberlands on. The single is accompanied by a video that sees the UK contingent taking over notorious Brixton rap venue Chip Shop, with an added cameo from UK great Blade. Craig G was unable to attend the shoot, due to the current travel restrictions, so he shot the footage for his verse in New York. The video was filmed and edited by Dylan Facer (UKHH.com). The single is due for release on both digital and limited-edition 12" vinyl formats. The vinyl artwork features a custom piece by Bristol graffiti pioneer INKIE and a hype sticker designed by Mr Krum.
