If you don't know about Cashtasic, then you need to get to know! The young rapper is taking the music industry by storm. Cashtastic started out at the age of 11 under the guidance of his older brother, Che. Cash, relishing in his experience, decided to pursue the craft as a hobby. This escalated into more of a focused approach to music, releasing a joint mixtape with LP entitled "The Formula". Though the mixtape did not receive mass promotion, it created a massive buzz on the streets, which lead to music being the centre of his attention. Drawing from his environment, his musical influence is derived from everyday occurrences on the streets, with him and the people around him. Cashtastic paints a portrait of the landscape he views it. Big Lee Records, the Peckham-based label, were the first to give Cash' a chance. Big Lee rounded up all the talented artists in the area as a collective. Under the label, Cashtastic released the single "I'm So Fly' with Colours; and featured on the anthem "Gunshot" alongside label-mates Colours, Famez, TG, Y Size, Shaqavelli, and Shower Malik. As the movement increased it made way for two more mixtapes. The first was the "C&C" mixtape with Chunks, followed by another joint project with Yung Meth entitled "Advanced Music", featuring the likes of Krept & Konan, Blade, G Frsh and Griminal to name a few. 2011 has proved to be a huge year for Cashtastic: featuring on Charlie Sloth's 1xtra show with Yung Meth; performing freestyles for Link Up TV & SBTV; performing at the prestigious Wireless festival; and even a performance in the G Shock store in Brick Lane. As 2011 comes to a close, Cash' has his sights firmly locked on to the number one spot. With a versatile approach to music, integrating an underground and commercial following, to deliver a truly unique blend of gritty, concept based, inspirational and standout tracks.
